PAN does not Exist - GST error while registering on gst.gov.in – Validation error with PAN in GST

From last two days, people are facing the problem while registering for GST on gst.gov.in. One you fill all the details, and went on to click and it shows that PAN does not exist.

People are facing this issue because there is error from the government website as their integration with PAN database has failed. Hence, people are facing this error.

Error Acknowledged by the Government

Even the government has acknowledged this error and hence they have issued a notification on gst.gov.in that we are facing the connectivity issue with the CBDT and you may face PAN validation error.

Possible solutions

Here are the possible solutions to the remedies:

• Wait for some time and then try again, because sometimes it works.
• Government is also working to resolve this issue and hence we may see it is getting resolved very soon
